One of the single best places for food and drinks in Lynchburg. The staff is incredible, the food is great, and the drinks will simply blow you away. My group and I decided to let the bartender experiment. We had 3 drinks and every single one of them was fantastics. Both bartended know what they are doing and just trust them. Sours are their specialty but just trust them. For dessert the bartenders made their take on an expresso martini and peppermint patty. I would never had tried them of my own, but they were delicious and not too sweet. Isabellas is worth it just for the drinks The food is Italian, and in my 4 visits here I have never had a bad meal. Find what you like or try something new. The food is Wonderfull.

We are new to town and tried Isabella's because my grandparents had eaten here several years ago and remembered it being very good. We were delighted! My partner is gluten free and the GF menu had a great selection of authentic Italian dishes. I had the eggplant stack, and the eggplant was perfectly crispy in all the melted cheese. My grandparents were quite happy with their choices, too. We shared a piece of pecan pie for dessert. The wine list was impressive and the cocktail list too - my partner had a cocktail that we were both impressed with. Our server was great - checked in regularly, very courteous, but personable and witty. The ambiance is lovely - the place is huge! It'd be amazing for a big gathering or dinner meeting. And my grandmother, who struggles with hearing in crowded spaces, did much better than in other restaurants. We're so glad Isabella's is around the corner! Looking forward to bringing more family by for a meal.

This place was delicious! I highly recommend the calamari. It's light and crispy and the sauces were perfect. Definitely try that appetizer. The muscles were also amazing. I had the spicy sausage pasta and everyone at the table raved about it. Our waitress made our experience extra special. She was super attentive and took great care of us. Ask for Lizzie next time you visit. The ambiance is also very romantic. Dimmed lights and candlelight. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or for date night!

We had a great evening at Isabella's. The service was excellent. I had the homemade sausages pasta and my GF had meatballs in polenta. Both were outstanding. We finished the evening sharing the tiramisu. Very relaxed enjoyable evening. Definitely returning soon.

Last night was my second time eating here and the food was superb again! I had the Rockfish from a recommendation from our server and she nailed it. The sauce and fish were a perfect pairing! This restaurant has a quaint feel and is divided up into medium sized dining areas so the noise level is not too much. It was easy to have a conversation at our table. The owner came over to say hello and check on us as well. What a great Italian restaurant. We will be back.

My wife and I tried Isabella's Italian Trattoria for dinner while in Lynchburg. We were both very glad we did, the food was amazing. We ordered the fried oysters for an appetizer, which I highly recommend! Crispy, with a wonderful Old Bay aioli! Mmmm! My wife ordered the mussels and I ordered lobster ravioli. The mussels came with a delicious grilled toast which was great for soaking up every last bit of sauce. The lobster ravioli was also really tasty, with am excellent tomato vodka cream sauce. To finish it off, we shared tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect, we will be back again on our next visit!
